My name is Martha Booker Johnson. I am a graduate student in the Department of Linguistics at the Ohio State University. My research focuses on morphology and language contact, specifically within Bantu languages.
My current work investigates the effects of contact with Swahili on Kihehe, spoken in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania. Previously, I have worked with tone analysis in Manyika (Bantu; Zimbabwe) and Lubukusu (Bantu; Kenya).
