The Rift Valley Webinar Series is a platform for network members to share information about Rift Valley Area-related activities and proposals in an interactive and visual format. Recordings of all webinar presentations are accessible to the public through a non-commercial license and can be found on the Rift Valley Network YouTube page. Scroll down to browse some of our talks or watch the Retrospective of the RVN Webinar Series Year 4 below.
All webinars in the Rift Valley Network webinar series are hosted using the Zoom web conferencing software (www.zoom.us). The webinars last for approximately 20-30 minutes, after which the presenters answer any questions that have been submitted by participants via the chat interface in the Zoom software.
To participate in the webinars, you can install the Zoom application for free on your computer (for Windows, Mac, and Linux systems), install the app on your mobile device (Android and iOS), or use a web-browser without any installation. After some testing, Richard has found the Chrome browser to have fewer issues than Firefox (Safari and IE are not supported). If you have any concerns about being able to participate, we suggest that you download the application/app on your device beforehand.
If you have any questions or experience any issues, feel free to contact us at [email protected].
